Historic buildings in Europe are a living symbol of a rich cultural heritage. Often, however, they also have a high level of energy inefficiency and significantly contribute to greenhouse gas emissions. An optimal balance between the preservation of these buildings and the application of energy efficiency retrofit measures requires a careful approach, especially under funding constraints, or after a natural disaster. Exchange and share your knowledge with peers and experts from local government and heritage protection offices from across Europe.
